Royal Paradise Beach Resort & Spa | Greece

Overlooking Rossogremos Bay on the southern coast of Thassos island, near the village of Potos, the Royal Paradise Beach Resort & Spa is a five-star luxury retreat set within 25 acres of unspoiled land between verdant hills, olive groves and a private fine-sand beach on the Aegean Sea. Conceived in 2008 and opened in May 2011, the resort welcomes guests aged 12 and over in 77 rooms and suites across seven categories, from garden-view rooms to suites with a private outdoor hot tub on the terrace

The project was deliberately scaled down from its original 120-unit concept, with a conscious choice to favour an intimate and peaceful experience over maximum capacity. The architecture follows a philosophy of deep respect for the natural setting: local materials, earthy tones and discreet volumes integrate into the landscape without altering it. During construction, not a single olive tree was felled; 80 mature olive trees were carefully relocated and replanted throughout the resort’s gardens, where they continue to flourish. The complex operates on heat pump systems rather than fossil fuels, practices comprehensive recycling and converts tree trimmings into natural fertiliser. In 2020 the resort underwent a partial refurbishment.

The dining offer centres on the Elea restaurant, with gourmet Mediterranean and Greek à la carte cuisine overlooking the olive gardens and, on clear days, the distant silhouette of Mount Athos; it is complemented by a buffet restaurant for breakfast and main meals, the Lobby Bar “Isalos” and the Pool Bar “Aeolos”. The resort’s three pools, including a heated outdoor seawater pool and a covered indoor pool, are accompanied by the Royal Senses Spa, a wellness centre offering holistic treatments, sauna, hot tub and a fitness suite. The property also features an art gallery, boutiques, a tennis court and a conference room.
