Palmira Palace Resort & Spa | Kurpaty – Crimea
Set within an 8-hectare subtropical park on Crimea's southern coast, in the village of Kurpaty approximately 8 km from Yalta city centre, the Palmira Palace Resort & Spa stands on the former imperial Romanov estate the last property acquired by the Tsar's family on the southern shore of the peninsula. The site carries a rich history: the area once belonged to Grand Duke Dmitry Konstantinovich, grandson of Tsar Alexander II, and in the Soviet era housed a state health institution before being transformed into the present-day resort. The hotel has welcomed guests since July 2005
The complex comprises two buildings one of six storeys and one of four totalling 171 rooms and suites with private balconies overlooking Yalta Bay and the legendary Ayu-Dag mountain, one of Crimea’s symbols. The interiors are distinguished by a neoclassical Empire-inspired style, with high ceilings, light-toned walls and refined finishes. Nearby landmarks include the Livadia Palace, Vorontsov Palace, Swallow’s Nest and Foros Church.
The SPA centre offers over 500 treatments from around the world, heated indoor and outdoor pools with seawater, a Turkish bath, Russian banya, hammam and waterpark. A private beach (accessible via panoramic lift), restaurants, bars, fitness centre, adult and children’s entertainment and a kids’ club complete the offering.
