Villa Belvedere | Lake Garda – Italy

Villa Belvedere stands on the eastern hills of Lake Garda, on a gently sloping plot above a small olive grove. The landscape is an integral part of the architectural concept: a green hillside that slopes gently toward the lake defines a context of great visual serenity.

The dwelling, spread over two levels, is designed according to a principle of expressive duality. The north facade, facing the street, presents a closed and protected front, designed to ensure privacy and security. To the south, by contrast, the architecture opens completely: large full-height glazed surfaces create a constant dialogue between the interior spaces and the panorama, offering uninterrupted views from the living room, the sleeping area and the communal spaces.

The relationship with the land, respect for the natural context and the desire to create a bright and landscape-permeable home guided every design decision. The use of glass as the dominant element, combined with clean geometries and the contemporary language of the building, amplifies the connection between architecture and territory.
