TAAG Flagship Store | Luanda – Angola
Located inside the Ministry of Transport in Luanda, the new flagship store of TAAG, Angola's national airline, is conceived as a tribute to the world of aviation. The formal language is inspired by the aerodynamic lines of aircraft: curvilinear elements, fluid surfaces and a sculptural steel staircase connecting the floors that evokes the shape of wings.
The spaces are spacious, luminous and dominated by a micro-perforated metal ceiling that visually recalls clouds and accentuates the sensation of lightness. All the furnishings, made from composite materials, were custom-designed by the studio and produced in fibreglass, to convey the dynamic perception of a hangar or flight cabin reinterpreted in a contemporary key.
The store develops over two levels and combines technical rigour with aesthetic suggestion, conveying the TAAG brand identity in a space that symbolises movement, innovation and comfort.
