Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira | Dubai
Located along Al Muteena Street in the Deira district the commercial and cultural heart of Old Dubai the Grand Excelsior Hotel Deira is deeply rooted in the city's trading tradition. Previously known as Sheraton Deira Hotel & Towers, the property was rebranded in April 2016 when Bin Haider Hospitality the hospitality division of the Mohammad Omar Bin Haider Holding Group (MOBH) took over management from Starwood Hotels, integrating the hotel into the Grand Excelsior collection. Its position is strategic: just 10 minutes from Dubai International Airport, walking distance to Salah Al Din/Abu Baker Al Siddique metro station, the famous Gold and Spice Souks, Dubai Creek and the main shopping centres of the area
The building, of contemporary and prestigious architecture, rises over multiple floors culminating in a rooftop panoramic pool with a round hot tub offering open views over Al Muteena. The complex comprises 229 rooms and suites (Classic, Preferred, Club, Club Business, Junior Suite, Executive Suite and a Royal Suite), all refurbished with contemporary furnishings, LCD TVs and high-speed Wi-Fi connection.
The dining offer is particularly rich: the Terrace restaurant serves international cuisine with buffet breakfast, live cooking stations and à la carte dinners; Le Café features specialties and pastries; Lindbergh’s Bar is dedicated to evening entertainment; and the Pool Bar completes the poolside experience. The property also includes a fitness centre, spa with sauna, steam bath and treatment rooms, a nightclub and extensive banquet spaces capable of hosting up to 1,200 guests for weddings, receptions and corporate events.
