Overlooking the waters of Dubai Marina along King Salman Bin Abdulaziz Al Saud Street, the Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites is one of the district's most recognisable skyscrapers, identified by its distinctive blue summit dome. Built between 2004 and 2007 and inaugurated on 1 November 2007 as the Emirates Marina Hotel & Residence by the Emirates Group, the complex rises 256 metres across 59 floors and accommodates 232 fully equipped suites with panoramic views over the marina, the Dubai skyline and Palm Jumeirah
Renamed The Harbour Hotel & Residence in January 2008 and finally Dubai Marriott Harbour Hotel & Suites in September 2009 upon joining the Marriott International portfolio, the complex has undergone a continuous programme of upgrades over the years. The suites, available as one, two and three-bedroom configurations, include six penthouses on the upper floors; each unit is conceived as a luxury apartment with a fully equipped kitchen, generous balconies with floor-to-ceiling windows and marble bathrooms. The project benefited from the technical and architectural consultancy of Khatib & Alami.
The dining offer includes Prime52 Steakhouse on the 52nd floor, with 360-degree panoramic views over the marina and Palm Jumeirah; The Croft, a British cuisine venue overlooking the harbour; and the Counter Culture Café for all-day dining. The hotel also features an outdoor pool, a fitness centre, a spa and complimentary beach access to the nearby Le Royal Méridien Beach Resort & Spa. Its position at the entrance of Dubai Marina, close to Skydive Dubai, Marina Beach and Dubai Marina Mall, makes it a reference point for extended stays as well as leisure and business visitors.
