Sani Resort | Greece
Located on the Kassandra peninsula in Halkidiki, approximately 45 minutes from Thessaloniki International Airport, Sani Resort is a luxury coastal destination extending across a private ecological reserve of over 400 hectares, encompassing pine forests, lakes, olive groves and seven kilometres of Aegean beaches. Five five-star hotels, each with its own distinct identity and character, form a complex unique in Mediterranean hospitality, entirely owned and managed by the Andreadis family
The resort’s origins date back to the 1960s, when Anastasios Andreadis acquired the land from the peninsula’s monks. The first hotel, Sani Club, opened its doors in 1971 amid the olive groves of the most secluded part of the reserve. Over the following decades the complex grew with the opening of Sani Beach, the largest and most vibrant of the five hotels directly on the beach; Porto Sani, family-oriented with 148 suites overlooking the private marina; and Sani Asterias, the most exclusive and boutique property, recently subject to a significant renovation of its Beachfront Residential Suites, with new three-bedroom residences opening in 2024 and completion in 2025, carried out by Spanish studio Gronda with an earthy palette, textured wall finishes and rattan details. The most recent addition is Sani Dunes, inaugurated on 30 June 2017 to a design by Niki Manou-Andreadis of NIMAND ARCHITECTS: 146 rooms and suites with direct access to Greece’s largest pool at 3,500 m² and an exclusive private beach.
The resort’s overall offering encompasses 5 spas, over 25 restaurants and bars including Michelin-starred menus, the Rafa Nadal Tennis Center, the Chelsea FC International Soccer Centre, the Bear Grylls Survival Academy, a sailing centre, a private marina with boutiques and restaurants, the Sani Festival (the summer music programme) and Sani Gourmet. Each year the resort renews part of its facilities: Sani Club underwent a profound transformation for the 2025 season, with rooms redesigned in harmony with the surrounding natural landscape; Sani Beach has Block B scheduled for refurbishment during winter 2026.
